Three-time CMO joins Gradial with a sharp point of view on where enterprise marketing goes next

Today we're announcing that Lynn Girotto is joining Gradial as our Chief Marketing Officer. Lynn brings more than two decades of enterprise marketing leadership, most recently as CMO at Qualtrics, Vimeo, and Heap, and earlier as SVP of Marketing at Tableau — building on foundational years at Microsoft, Starbucks, and PepsiCo.

Gradial is redefining how enterprise marketing organizations operate in the AI era. The platform lets marketing leaders simplify their stack, orchestrate end-to-end workflows, and give their teams time back to focus on the parts of the job that actually differentiate the brand.

Enterprise marketing has become orders of magnitude more complex than it was a decade ago. The surfaces marketers own across digital properties, social channels, mobile apps, connected devices, retail and event experiences, and media across dozens of formats have multiplied. Each new surface added a specialist, each specialist added a system, and what was once a marketing team is now a coordination challenge across dozens of platforms, with campaign cycles measured in weeks or months. Lynn has lived that shift from the inside across multiple companies, and her arrival at Gradial is a direct response to it.

“No one got into marketing to file tickets,” said Lynn. “But that’s what most of the job has become — routing briefs, chasing approvals, managing handoffs across a stack of systems that keeps growing. The best marketers I know want to build ideas and customer relationships, not manage processes. Gradial is the first company I’ve seen that’s built to give them that time back.”

In her new role, Lynn will lead the Gradial marketing team and partner with the enterprise marketing leaders adopting AI at scale. She's spent her career on the other side of the table, evaluating and buying the tools her teams relied on, and that perspective will now shape how Gradial builds and talks about its own product.

“Lynn has lived the problem we’re solving, and she shares our conviction that there’s a better way to run enterprise marketing,” said CEO and co-founder Doug Tallmadge. “That combination is what we needed to lead our next phase, and it’s what will make Gradial the platform CMOs actually want, not just the one they need.”

Lynn joins Gradial fresh off a $65 million Series C led by Insight Partners.

Welcome to Gradial, Lynn.
